When we decided to refinish our floors, we asked around and surfed the internet looking for a company we could trust. We came across Tadas Wood Flooring, a local company here in Naperville. Our floors were a golden oak, which we were hoping to update to a much darker finish. After showing Tadas photos from Pinterest of the finish we were looking for, Tadas showed us a flooring sample of Ebony with a Hardwax Finish. Although we were nervous about going with such a drastic change, Tadas and his team gave us EXACTLY what we were looking for. The color and the finish are absolute perfection. In addition, his dustless guarantee is just that, dustless. His team was on time and professional each day. Tadas even disposed of the carpeting from our stairs and stained and replaced the molding below the treads and no additional cost.
The change in our wood flooring has brought our home completely up-to-date. The improvement is amazing. We have already recommended Tadas and his crew and will continue to do so. His work was everything we could've hoped for, and more.

Since moving into our home 4 years ago, our hardwood floors had been a concern. They were worn, scratched, and not the color we would prefer. When we finally decided to "take the plunge" and have the floors restored, we weren't exactly sure where to go.
They were easy to work with, reasonably priced, and more than anything else clearly took pride in their work. Great experience from start to finish!
When we came across the Naperville Hardwood website, we were impressed by its detail and comprehensive explanation of the process and decided to call for an estimate. While we had a few different estimates, we felt Tadas was the best choice. He walked us through the process and answered our many questions with patience! When the project began the entire team was extremely professional, prompt, and friendly. Their attention to detail was wonderful.
Despite the fact that our entire first floor was being refinished, the impact on our daily activities at home were minimal.
When we were having some trouble determining the exact stain color (going from light to much darker), Tadas brought in multiple samples, pictures, etc. to help us get a clear idea of what would look good in our space.
Ultimately, we are extremely happy with the results. The color turned out great and the floors look absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend Naperville Hardwood and Tadas' team to anyone. We love the new hardwood you installed in our Family Room. Paul did a great job of lacing it into our existing kitchen floor. Now, it looks like one smooth, seamless floor that has always been there. THE JOB: This project involved repairs, installation,sanding, staining and refinishing the red oak floors. As you can see from the photos below, they were in pretty bad shape. They most likely hadn't been refinished in 20+ years and were extremely worn out... down to the raw wood in many places. The owners were renovating the entire house as an investment property. That included removing a few walls and renovating the kitchen. That's where we had to install new flooring to match the existing oak floors. After sanding and refinishing, the floor looks better than new. All stains and damage was removed ro hidden under the dark stain. The client was were extremelly happy with the results, as were we.
