Orland Park Red Oak Hardwood Floor and Custom Staircase:
THE CLIENT: Arch Remodeling – Orland Park, Illinois
THE JOB: This was a brand new custom designed house with 2,800 sqft of new red oak installed. It also had a beautiful hand crafted staircase handrail – designed and built by the very talented owner – as the homes show piece. We sanded and refinished the living room, family room, kitchen, dining, 5 bedrooms and staircase. This was a fun and interesting project for us. The floors and stairs were kept the natural color and were coated with Synteco acid cure finish. This project was completed a few years ago before the new VOC laws – we don’t use this finish anymore because of the high fumes and smell.

Plainfield, Illinois Hardwood Floor Sanding:
THE CLIENT: Cy Mahnke – Plainfield, Illinois
THE JOB: Cy and his wife wanted to restore their worn and scratched red oak flooring throughout their home. They also decided to get rid of the carpet in their office and replace it with new oak to match the rest of the hardwood floors. After installing the new flooring in the office, we sanded and refinished all the floors in the kitchen, entry and hallways and of course the office. Cy wanted to go for a natural poly look, but in a water based system to cut down on the smell and fumes... so we first coated the sanded floor with Bona Amber seal to give it the rich poly look he was after and then top coated the floor with 2 coats of Bona Traffic satin. As you can see from the pictures it looks very similar to a deep, rich polyurethane finish.

HAPPY CLIENT feedback
We have a lot of hardwood flooring in our home and after 11 years it was time to refinish the floors which were showing the normal wear and tear of scuffing, scratches and dull areas. At the same time we wanted to replace the carpet in our office and replace with hardwood flooring and match the oak flooring we wanted refinished in the rest of the house.
We were extactic with the results of our new wood floors. We will be giving your name to all our friends and family...
We went online and contacted several people to come to our home and quote the total job. The web site for Tadas Wood Flooring was the most complete and informative as to what to expect even before Tadas came to our home to review the project in detail and give us a quote.
You could tell during the project review that Tadas took pride in his work and that the quality of his work would be nothing but perfect. The quote for the project was not the lowest cost, but we felt we would get the best possible results working with Tadas.
Upon returning from vacation we opened our door to view a beautiful refinished oak floor throughout the house. We were amazed how beautiful the office looked with the newly installed oak flooring.
Everything was put back in order and there was no dust to be found. They had done a wonderful job of cleaning all the dust. We were extactic with the results of our new wood floors. We will be giving your name to all our friends and family if they need wood flooring refurbished or installed.

THE CLIENT: Asked to be withheld – Naperville, Illinois
THE JOB: This client was getting ready to put their house on the market. As you can see from the before pictures below, the hardwood floors need a bit of work to get them presentable. HAPPY CLIENT feedback
We had approximately six quotes come back for refinishing our existing hardwood floors. We decided to go with Tadas Wood Flooring because of his professionalism and based on positive references and reviews. Also, his prices were comparable to the other quotes that we received. Tadas was always prompt with returning emails and calls and answering questions. His team worked efficiently and were polite. I got a real sense of trust.
Cindy | Naperville, IllinoisWe absolutely love the way the floors turned out... I would definitely recommend Tadas to friends and neighbors.
Our biggest fear of starting a hardwood restoration project was the thought of all of the dust and mess. We opted to go with the 101% dustless package, and were very happy with the results. The dust seemed well contained and minimal. The rooms were all sealed off, as well as the cabinetry. The process took approximately 3 days, and we are now enjoying our beautiful hardwood. We absolutely love the way the floors turned out, and are already anticipating to use Tadas again when we are ready to install hardwood in the other rooms. I would definitely recommend Tadas to friends and neighbors.
Hinsdale White Oak Natural Floor with Loba Invisible Protect :
THE CLIENT: Mark S – Hinsdale, Illinois
THE JOB: This newly renovated house had brand new white oak flooring installed throughout the home. The owners wanted a natural, beachy, non-plastic feel to the home, so we provided a look that fits in perfectly. The finish used is called Loba Invisible Protect. It has zero sheen and looks like raw wood... except it’s a very durable coating that will protect these well used floors. If you love the low sheen the look of hardwax oils, but prefer the ease of daily use of a water-based finish, then this product could be perfect for you too. We think it looks great.
