A friend, at work, recommended Tadas Wood Flooring, when we decided to renovate a recently purchased older home. The existing floors looked like pine stained with a very light blonde, almost yellow finish. My husband, at first, wanted them torn out and replaced. When we found out how expensive it was to replace wood floors, we entertained the idea of refinishing. My husband wasn’t expecting much and I was hopeful that the end finish would at least be nicer than the existing floors.

As the refinishing process began, I appreciated the fact that Tadas was willing and flexible with our construction schedule as we had other disciplines of workmen, coming in and out of the house while the refinishing was taking place.

In the end, my husband and I loved the wood floor. It looks brand new. We were surprised of how much wood grain shows and “pops” out compared to the old floor. The color, look and feel greatly surpassed our expectations.

He made the repairs, sanded, and stained the first day. The second day he applied the base finish and one top coat. The third day he applied the second top coat. The final day he returned to install primed shoe moulding, which I painted to match my woodwork.
